Thank you for an amazing semester of learning! Farzana and Mina have really enjoyed learning with you, and we are all looking forward to continuing this journey. Both Farzana and Mina say that they like the class setup/routine. You run your class in a very professional, yet age-appropriate way. The tools you've provided on your website and through Google Classroom have all been very helpful. I especially admire the word search, and the girls have a love/hate relationship with the alif-bey song. It's hard to get it out of your head once it's in there. But that's probably the intention anyways. I love and appreciate that you post the lessons online so the kids can look at them for reference, or if they miss class.

Thank you again for everything you do. We really appreciate all the time, care and effort you put into helping the kids learn, and we feel very lucky to have you as their teacher.

Thank you so much for working with Aryan. he has learned so much already and I’m excited to see him continue to progress.

The games you did with them were great, especially the ones where one student starts a sentence and the next person continues. They really helped Aryan learn new words and string sentences in Farsi. I’ll keep working with him until the next class starts in Sept, he definitely needs to practice the alphabet and recognizing the letters but I’m excited to see how he progresses.

I would love for my daughter to join Laila’s class. I am going to register her right away. I think Sundays work much better for her schedule anyways. We are all so excited for this entire process. We tried a couple sessions with an instructor on Preply, but the instructor wasn't proficient in English and lived in Pakistan. The time difference and unreliable internet made things difficult. I did observe some of your class yesterday and I am so impressed with everything. Thank you for making this possible!

I have seen your work and I just wanted to say how proud I feel seeing you teaching and promoting our language and culture. ❤️ It’s so beautiful to see our language being passed on and appreciated, and the work you are doing through your institute is truly inspiring. Thank you for keeping our language alive and helping others connect with their roots. It makes me genuinely proud. ❤️ I am doing my master in social work and am very busy to teach my sons however it is obvious that you are a teacher.

Thank you for a great term so far. I am enjoying it a lot and learning so much. I was thinking that I might switch to the intermediate level, if you didn't think that would be too big of a jump.

I am a non-Afghan and am learning Persian because my partner is Afghan. I joined ZABAN at intermediate level and took part in both group classes and one-on-one classes. Ghazal was an incredible teacher — very encouraging and able to teach students at their level and help push us to improve. I really appreciated how the course was specifically for Afghan Farsi and not Iranian Farsi. I improved in both my speaking and my reading abilities, and I felt supported to improve my pronunciation and my confidence in communicating.
